We are thrilled to share the reimagined counselor experience with you. 🚀 Now, you can customize Scoir to fit your unique counseling practice! In this impactful release, you’ll see new features and enhancements that include:
Let’s jump right into it!
We've reimagined the counselor experience with a new look and feel, including updated navigation.
Now, the design is more user-friendly and better visually aligned with the student experience. The only navigation update you’ll experience is going to the new More icon to access School Settings, Data Management, and Users.
TL;DR: Scoir is now prettier đź’™
Over the summer, we opened up early access to the new Student Roster, allowing you to opt in and check it out. With this release, all counselors are automatically opted into the new roster! However, to help minimize disruptions to your workflow during the busy season, you can opt out and use the old roster until January 31, 2024.
Head over to the Student Roster to see new filters like First Gen, FERPA Status, Ethnicity, Race, Legal Sex, and the Custom Properties you’ve created (see more on that in the Custom Properties section!).
You can see exactly what you want by changing the Columns in the Student Roster.
Need to work with a specific student? Preview their details right from the roster by clicking their name!
Once you’re ready, save your default view (by clicking “Views”) and export just the data you need (by clicking “Export”).
TL;DR: You can now save your own Student Roster views and preview student details right from the Student Roster.
Capture information specifically for your students with Custom Properties! That way, if Scoir doesn’t have an existing field for data you want to see, like summer programs, you can simply create one!
Account Admins, and those assigned the new Custom Property Manager role or with the previously available Data Management role, can create, import, and manage Custom Properties.
Property Groups can be created as well to help you keep track of your student data!
TL;DR: You can now create Custom Properties to capture information specifically for your students.
And that’s a wrap! Thanks for making it this far 🙌
These features represent a huge milestone for Scoir and for our counselors.
