Career Readiness for High Schools
We've expanded to include Career Readiness, allowing us to serve both college and non-college-bound students on their journeys! 🎉
Enjoy early access to see what you can start using now, and what's coming soon!
Reflect with Assessments
Support students in self-discovery with assessments that help them better understand their interests and how they’ll fit into the workforce. Students can take a 5-minute interest assessment and the PrinciplesYou character-based assessment (that can be completed within 1 class period!).
As they identify their interests, they can narrow their search down even more in Scoir by filtering careers based on career clusters, education needed, income, and outlook. Students can also select their academic preferences to better match with colleges that support the education requirements of specific careers!
College counselors can view each student's career assessment results and academic preferences to help better understand your students’ tendencies and talents.
Explore Careers
Counselors and students can explore comprehensive career details like education needed, required skills, daily tasks, and similar job titles, helping you better guide students through discovery.
As students research in Scoir, they'll learn to identify a variety of careers and develop a deeper understanding of career ranges and clusters. They'll see options from technology to healthcare to finance and begin connecting the dots between their interests and the different pathways.
Discover 4-Year, 2-Year, Tech, and Trade Colleges
Now, you and your students can discover even more colleges, including trade and technical colleges, on Scoir! Students and counselors can now see a Career & Trade filtering option for those pursuing pathways that offer specialized training and certifications.
Every student can better indicate their plans in Scoir so we can tailor their experience.
Assign & Manage Tasks
As students advance through high school, keep everyone on schedule by assigning and managing student tasks. Tasks make it easier to guide students through career readiness lessons and activities while tracking progress. Counselors can also create a plan of recurring tasks and forms that are automatically assigned and can be reused year after year.
At a glance, see who’s completed tasks, quickly send reminders for those who haven't, and mark tasks incomplete if a student needs to add more details. Students get notified when they’ve been assigned a new task and can view and complete these right from their dashboard!
Build Forms
Use robust Forms to organize and deliver student lessons and activities. Simply add fields you want to customize into the editor and include your directions. Once created, assign the form as a task for students and capture information and submissions.
Whether you're gathering reflections from students as the explore career clusters or asking them to complete an interest survey, you'll be able to better analyze the data and determine the impact of lessons using Forms.

Our Career Readiness Curriculum for grades 9-12 is here! The Curriculum includes ASCA-compliant lesson plans that build as your students grow, including worksheets and slide decks that you can utilize in the classroom.
