What is Manage Documents?

Manage Documents is a single view that shows you, student by student, exactly which documents are on file and which are still needed, based on each student's actual college list. Documents are marked Available, Needed, or Optional, so you can tell what matters at a glance. Learn more about Scoir's send docs features.

Which document types can I manage and send to colleges in Scoir?

Any document associated with a college application can be sent through Scoir! This includes: Transcripts Letters of recommendation Fee waivers Early decision contracts Secondary school reports And more!

What college applications are used to decide what's Needed vs. Optional for each student?

Next to your filters button is an option to "Show requirements for," where you can select from three options. This version of each student's list is used to populate all document requirements.

Do I need to do anything to get started with Manage Documents?

No setup is required! You should see an in-platform notification that says you now have access. Any changes you or your students have made up to this point will be reflected in the new experience.

Where do I find Manage Documents in Scoir?

Navigate to Applications → Manage in Scoir.

Can I still access documents the way I used to?

Yes. Manage Documents is designed to help you prioritize what needs attention. To act on a specific document, click a student's name and work from their profile as you always have.

How can I give my feedback on the Manage Documents experience?

In Scoir, you’ll see an in-platform notification pop up alerting you about this update. There is a feedback button on that tab that leads you to the form.

For Colleges: App Rounds are Open | Scoir

2:24

It’s almost time to set application rounds and deadlines in Scoir for the upcoming application cycle.

This gives students and their high school counselors the verified information they need to apply to your institution.

App Rounds should be configured no later than July 31, 2023 so they can be accessed by students beginning August 1, 2023 for the 2023-2024 academic cycle.

As a trusted source of truth for nearly 1 million college-bound students, thank you for committing to keeping your college’s information accurate!

Easier maintenance

We’ve made it even easier to maintain application rounds, savings admissions officers much needed effort in a busy season.

Before, deadlines and document requirements for App Rounds were set together.

App Rounds Before

Now, you’ll separately set requirements and deadlines, including indicating the deadline type (Early Decision, Regular Decision, etc.).

App Rounds After

Application Requirements are a set of document types that you require, or wish to receive from students applying to your college
Application Deadline is a deadline that you report for each specific round

Application Requirements are then paired with an Application Deadline to create an Application Round.

For example, if you create a set of Application Requirements for First-Year Applicants, and then an Application Deadline for a Regular Decision deadline, you’ll pair “First-Year Applicants” Application Requirements with your “Regular Decision” deadline to create an Application Round.

Students applying to this round and their supporters will need to supply the documents you set in your “First-Year Applicants” document requirements, and will see your “Regular Decision” deadline associated with the round.

Application Requirements can be created and paired with more than one round at a time, eliminating the need to redo your document selections when creating additional rounds. You can also have different sets of Application Requirements for different rounds.

Remember, App Rounds should be configured no later than July 31, 2023 so they can be accessed by students beginning August 1, 2023!

Always improving

We’d love to hear what you think about this new way to manage your Application Rounds. Share your feedback!
