Over the last year, we continued investing in platform flexibility to ensure Scoir is customizable to your needs and aligns with your unique processes and priorities. We know how important this is because one size doesn’t fit all, and what works for some schools may not work for others.
That’s why, when we released your most requested feature—the Scoir + Common App Integration—we put the choice in your hands about whether your school leveraged the integration or not.
When we launched Scoir AI 2.0, we didn’t just make it smarter. We kept you in control of how you wanted to surface admission predictions with students.
This level of flexibility wouldn’t be possible without your feedback, and we can’t thank you enough for all you’ve shared with us throughout the year 💙 Know that our team looks at every piece of feedback to help us influence what we build and how we can help solve your challenges through Scoir.
Now, let’s quickly recap how we enhanced the experience in 2025:

Whether your school leveraged the Common App integration, or you made the decision to opt out this school year, you saw updates to many counselor templates and forms, as well as teacher recommendations.
These updates not only supported requirements for schools that opted into the Common App integration, but they enhanced the experience by introducing a modern and more organized way to collect information. Now, our templates and forms are better aligned with the standardized forms colleges are used to getting.

If you’re new to Admission Intelligence (or as we call it—Scoir AI), we launched it in 2024 to help students make more informed decisions and build balanced college lists. Within Scoir, it shows a student’s chances of acceptance based on real data. And, we continue to make enhancements.
In January, we launched Scoir AI 2.0 with smarter, simpler Intelligent Match to quickly evaluate balanced lists, customizable Acceptance Likelihood ranges, more flexible Balanced List Scoring, and other enhancements. Learn more >
In August, we updated Scoir AI to align even more with how admissions decisions are made. This allowed for more context-awareness when showing acceptance predictions to ensure insights reflect current admission practices, residency factors, and high school and college relationships. Learn more >
We also made updates to the Admission Intelligence settings so they’re easier to understand and set up. Whether you’re adjusting visibility or configuring timing for AI features like Balanced Lists or Predictive Chances, you’ll find fewer steps and clearer options. Learn more >
💡 Across the board, in every acceptance category and prediction range, actual acceptance rates closely match the predictions made by Admission Intelligence. Since Scoir’s Admission Intelligence has proven to be highly accurate, we encourage you to configure your settings in a way that you and your students can benefit from it!
