The West Chester, PA tech startup hired for two key roles to keep up with the business growth and is aggressively recruiting new talent across all company departments this summer.
West Chester, PA., July 15, 2020 -- Scoir, Inc., welcomed Josh Daltry as Chief Technology Officer and Andrew Owen as Chief Data Officer to help the West Chester startup move into its next phase of growth with an increased focus on data and analytics.
Daltry joins Scoir after serving in the CTO role at Picwell where he led the technology strategy, product development, and IT operations. Prior to this, he served as the CTO for eMoney Advisor. Owen joins the team after leading many public sector data initiatives in his roles as Director of Data, Architecture and Software Development at SEARCH Group, Inc. and Executive Director of the Open Justice Broker Consortium.
Scoir’s latest investment round brought funding to a total of $30M resulting in the relocation of company headquarters to a new office space in downtown West Chester and adding new talent to all company departments to keep up with business growth.
“Having Josh and Andrew join and grow their teams is going to propel Scoir into our next growth phase due to their extensive experience and leadership in the technology and data industries,” said Kevin McCloskey, Scoir’s founder and President. “We’re thrilled with the momentum we’re experiencing and the ability to continue playing a role in improving the college admissions process. We’ve tripled the number of public and private high schools on the platform nationwide and continue to onboard new colleges and universities daily,” said McCloskey.
The company is looking to fill an additional 16 positions across their engineering, product, design, marketing, data, and client success teams this summer.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the team’s dedication to our mission and commitment to making first-class experiences for our users. I’m looking forward to bringing new talent onboard so we can accelerate our ability to bring new solutions to the market faster.”
