Opt in to our new experience and see how we're making college data easier to manage with Previews, Labels, and Views. 🚀

Here's what we cover in this blog post:

Let’s dive in!

Colleges Opt In

If you haven't already, opt in to a new experience with better college data visibility by going to Discover > Our Colleges. Easily go between Colleges and the previous version of discovering and managing colleges.

A few changes you'll notice is that the Discover tab is now called Colleges, information is more visible and easier to customize, and you can refine your search by filtering. Recently, we added a Class Year filter allowing you to see specific class years' data within the view. You can also suggest colleges for students.

Go to Student Discover to check out Schools, #Posts, Events, and Programs in the student view.

Previews

See college details at a glance by hovering over a college's name and selecting Preview. When you do, a slide out appears with information like application deadlines, admission stats, tuition, financial aid, and more. With everything in one place, you save time and get the info you need fast. Add notes within the Preview or jump over to the college's Profile to explore more details like Scattergrams.

Labels

Labels are only visible to counselors and help you categorize and group colleges based on specific designations like scholarship opportunities or work-study programs. Easily create Labels by previewing a college or from the college's Profile. Once you've added a Label to a college, you’ll see those listed on their college Preview and Profile. You can also Edit Labels to add or remove them, and filter by Labels to save them as Views.

Views

Save Views to stay organized and quickly access the information you use most. Once you've filtered to see a specific view, click the binocular icon and select Save as New View. From there, you can set as your default view if you'd like.

TL;DR: Easily preview college details, group colleges, and save views for quick access to info and to stay organized. 🙌

And that’s a wrap!
