Our company is growing, and we are looking for a Regional Sales Director to lead college sales across the Western US.



Scoir is a SaaS provider of a college admissions network that expands college access and improves student outcomes. History shows that higher education is the surest path to expand opportunities for advancement, yet far too many high school students fail to realize those opportunities. Scoir simplifies college research and application decision-making with beautifully designed software that engages, informs, and facilitates interaction among students, parents, counselors, and colleges. We are a for-profit social enterprise, meaning creating positive social impact is equally as important as financial return as we work to facilitate meaningful lasting impacts.



Regional Directors are accountable for closing new business and driving share in their territory. The “Wild West” Western Region is our largest geographic territory, with the most opportunity, and is ready for someone who enjoys working with others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a talented presenter, and knows the post-secondary space. Regional Directors at Scoir are team players who partner closely with their Customer Success and Support Team Managers to ensure renewals occur, and work closely with product development managers to provide customer feedback on new features.

You will be expected to:
  • Have strong public speaking skills; ability to deliver information clearly, communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and to present at conferences.
  • Know and understand the secondary and post-secondary education landscapes (with focus on post-secondary).
  • Leverage your “hunter mentality”.
  • Be a Team player. While sales goal accountability rests on your shoulders, Scoir is a very team-oriented organization.
  • Appreciate a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial work environment. Be creative, take risks, and learn from failure rather than fear it.


  • 5+ years selling SaaS, preferably in EdTech or to Post-secondary customers.
  • Have created sales strategies and tactics to meet / exceed individual targets, and have experience working with / leading a broader team.
  • Influences product feature development because you understand how to share customer feedback with product development teams.
  • Represents Scoir to customers with professionalism.
